INVITATION TO TENDER

1. Tenders are hereby invited from suitably qualified companies to execute the projects listed below:
(a) DELTA STATE CAPITAL TERRITORY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
i. Construction of Odozi Obodo/Aninta/Anenta Street off Ezenei Avenue, Asaba, Oshimili South Local Government Area.
(b) MINISTRY OF WORKS (RURAL AND RIVERINE ROADS)
i. Construction Of Aziken Avenue, Ddpa Low Cost Housing Estate, Boji-Boji Agbor In Ika South Local Government Area
ii. Construction of Ofuegbe Street, Amai, Ukwuani Local Government Area.
iii. Construction of Uduophori Secondary Commercial School Road in Patani Local Government Area.
iv. Construction Of Access And Internal Road At Headquarter Of 63 Bridage Nigerian Army Ibusa In Oshimili North Local Government Area.
v. Construction Of Internal Roads In Kiagbodo (Phase 1) Burutu Local Government Area
vi. Construction Of Main Access Road To Federal University Of Petroleum Resources Effurun In Uvwie Local Government Area.
vii. Construction Of Ogbudugbudu Community In Egbema Warri North Local Government Area (Phase 2)
viii. Construction Of Utagba-Uno/Ndemili Road (Phase 1) In Ndokwa West Local Government Area.
ix. Construction Of Eweshi/Utagba-Uno Road In Ndokwa West Local Government Area.
x. Rehabilitation Of Odimodi-Okuntu-Ogbulagba Road In Burutu Local Government Area
(c) MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION
i. Establishment of the College of Medical Science at Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro

2. Tender application forms and documents are to be collected from the office of the Secretary, State Tenders Board, Deputy Governor’s Office, Asaba upon non-refundable payments of the prescribed fee as contained in 3(v) and 3(xiii).

3. Tenders must be accomplished by the following:
i. Evidence of registration as a contractor with Delta State government
ii. Evidence of registration with the CAC
iii. Evidence of valid tax clearance certificate
iv. Verifiable contact address of business office(s) premises, utilities bills etc
v. Evidence of payment of tender fee of N500,000.00 for project A(i), B(i) & B(ii); N100,000.00 for project B(iii) – B(viii); C(i) – C(iii) and D(i); N1,500,000.00 for projects B(ix) & B(x)
vi. Evidence of professional/technical qualifications
vii. Evidence of financial capability
viii. Evidence of previous jobs successfully executed
ix. Evidence of DSIR Card
x. Evidence of registration with the DSCHC
xi. Memorandum/article of association
xii. Statutory returns including audited accounts for the last 3 years
xiii. Evidence of payment of N250,000.00 for projects (i) B(i) & B(ii); N500,000.00 for project B(iii) – B(x); C(i) – C(iii) and D(i) in Bank Draft in Favor of State Tender Board, Asaba for processing of the tender documents

4. Tenderers are advised to visit and inspect the project sites before tendering, for this purpose, tendered should contact the Director, Planning, Research & Statistics of the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency; Ministries of Works (Rural and Riverine Roads); (Highways and Urban Roads) and Higher Education for guidance.

5. All tender documents which should be in two copies each, together with the completed Bills of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation (BEME), should be put in a wax-sealed envelope addressed to:
The Secretary
State Tenders Board
Deputy Governor’s Office,
Asaba.

6. The project title should be clearly marked at the top left hand corner of the envelope.

7. All tender document should be delivered to
The State Tenders Board Secretariat,
Deputy Governor’s Office
Asaba.

8. Tenders should note that the board in considering the tender would not be bound to accept the lowest or any bidder.

9. Late bids after Wednesday, 23rd October 2024 by 12noon will be rejected.

10. Tender will be opened at 10am Thursday 24th October 2024 in the presence of bidders or bidders’ representatives who choose to be present at the Conference Hall, Deputy Governor’s Office Asaba.
