PREQUALIFICATION NOTICE

1. INTRODUCTION
The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received financing from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) toward the cost of the Climate Change Adaptation and Agribusiness Support Programme (CASP). CASP is implemented in the Savannah Belt of Nigeria, i.e. the (seven) 7 northern states of Borno, Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto, Yobe and Zamfara. The programme covers a total of 727 village areas composed of 207 village areas and 520 new village areas across 101 LGAs of the 7 northern states.

Climate Change Adaptation and Agribusiness Support Programme (CASP) Intend to apply part of the proceeds from the financing for payments of Goods, Works, Consulting and Non-consulting services to be procured under this programme. Specifically, the programme will undertake the activities below.

2. CASP PROCUREMENT ACTIVITIES
(i) Procurement of Works: Rural Roads, Land Development, Water Supply, Market and Agro Infrastructures, renovation and rehabilitation, small Earth Dams, etc.
(ii) Procurement of Goods:  Office Equipment, Office Furniture, ICT Equipment & Accessories, Agro Processing Equipment, Agro inputs, work tools, etc
(iii) Procurement of Consulting and related services including training of farmer groups on best practices, on business plans, operations and maintenance training, external auditing, planning and reporting, baseline studies, rural institution training, financial services and water harvesting, general technical services, general training, knowledge management and communication, etc.
