Search for Common Ground is an international, non-sectarian, non-profit organization partnering with people around the world to ignite shared solutions to destructive conflicts.

Search has been working in Nigeria since 2004, using innovative approaches to promote peace building in areas of tension and to encourage understanding across ethnic, religious, and gender lines. With offices in Abuja, Jos, Maiduguri, Yola, and Warri, we are working to address conflict, utilizing consensus-based advocacy training, conflict resolution training, human rights monitoring and reporting, and the facilitation of dialogue processes that engage all levels of society.

In accordance with the due process for award of contracts, Search for Common Ground Nigeria is soliciting competitive, sealed bids from interested and reputable contractors with relevant experience to establish contracts for the following:

  • A technical proposal, no more than four pages, describing how the movie production objectives will be met within the stated timetable. Also a narrative “pitches” describing the basic film concepts and illustrative examples of how the movie would be structured.
  • Technical qualifications of the team members including CVs, for all proposed personnel along with select internet links or digital copies of relevant short films developed by team members as well as Creative portfolios, including internet links or digital copies of relevant short films developed by the company.
  • Budget/financial proposal including a description of costs for personnel, per diems, travel, logistics, any local production company support, and all film production costs (development, pre-production, production, and post-production). Include an overall cost for the contract. Final content decisions will be discussed between the consultant and Search before production begins.
  • Creative portfolios, including internet links or digital copies of relevant film productions developed by the consultant.

Jhpiego Corporation, an affiliate of John Hopkins University, is an international non-profit, non-governmental organization that works to improve the health of women and families throughout the world. Jhpiego Nigeria and its project sites seeks hospitality service relationship with its pre-qualified vendors and any other reputable and interested hotel and conference/event service providers in the following States (including local government areas). Lagos, Abuja, Ondo, Cross Rivers, Niger, Nassarawa, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Enugu, Rivers, Kano, Sokoto, Bauchi, Kebbi, Borno, Yobe, Bayelsa, Oyo and Adamawa, Taraba, Abia, and Gombe State.

Vendors should provide most competitive fixed rates (NGO flat rates) for their services that will be valid for the next 12 months from date of commitment. Vendors are encouraged to read the entire document to ensure that they have a clear understanding of Jhpiego requirements before submitting a bid.

The North East Connection program funded by USAID and implemented by Creative Associates International, Inc. (Creative), is seeking applications from eligible applicants to fund a program entitled “Develop Cultural and recreational Opportunities for inter-community exchanges in Potiskum, Biu, Mubi North and Mubi South LGAs.

PROGRAM SUMMARY
The purpose of Northeast Connection project is to strengthen the resilience of communities vulnerable to violent extremist infiltration and conflict. By targeting communities in Adamawa, Yobe, and Borno States that are not yet under the control of violent extremist organizations (VEOs), the Activity will mitigate the grievances that make communities vulnerable to violent extremism, while building social cohesion within and across communities in northeast Nigeria. In addition to helping northeastern Nigerians create a stronger foundation and become more resilient to VEO infiltration and conflict, the Activity will develop local capacity to respond to emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Northeast Connection also includes a rigorous analytical component to develop a more informed, shared understanding of local and sub-regional VEO and conflict risks, dynamics, and windows of opportunity. The Activity will also lead the coordination of implementing partners on such countering violent extremism (CVE) initiatives.
