INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PROCUREMENT OF GOODS

INTRODUCTION
The National Bureau of Statistics has received financing form the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for the purpose of the implementation of Assessment of Post Covid-19 National Multidimensional Poverty Index (MP) in Nigeria for year 2021, and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards payments under the contract for the procurement Goods
The National Bureau of Statistics hereby invites interested, competent, reputable contractors with relevant experience and good track record for the procurement of the under listed:

SCOPE OF SUPPLY

LOT NOs ITEMS DESCRIPTION
Single Lot Procurement of Tablet (CAPI Device with Pouch) and Power Banks

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
For purposes of evaluation, interested Contractors should supply the under listed information including but not limited to the following:
a. Evidence of certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) including Forms CAC2 and CAC7,
b. Evidence of Company’s Income Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2018, 2019 and 2020) valid till 31st December, 2021;
c. Evidence of current Pension Clearance Certificate(PENCOM) valid till 31st December, 2021
d. Evidence of industrial Training Fund (ITF) compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2021
e. Evidence of Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2021;
f. Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers by submission of Interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 31/12/2021 or valid Certificate issued by BPP;
g. Sworn Affidavit
– And that the company is not in receivership, insolvency or bankruptcy.
– disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) or the Bureau of public procurement is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars.
– That none of the Directors of the Company has been convicted for criminal offence in relation to fraud or financial impropriety in any court in Nigeria or elsewhere.
h. company’s Audited Account for the last three (3) years-2018,2019,2020;
i. Evidence of financial capability to execute the project including Reference letter from a reputable commercial bank in Nigeria indicating willingness to provide credit facility equal to the amount of the value of the quoted contract sum by the bidder for the execution of the project when needed;
j. Company’s profile with the curriculum vitae of key Staff.
k. Verifiable documentary evidence of at least (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including letters of Award, job completion Certificates.
l. Registration with relevant bodies such as NITDA/CPN/Information Technology, etc
m. The bidder shall either be original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or Authorized Representative of the OEMs by presenting a Letter of Authorization from the OEMs.
n. For joint Venture/Partnership, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) should be provided. All Eligibility requirements are compulsory for each JV Partner.
o. All documents for submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding letter under the company’s letter head paper bearing amongst others, the registration Number (RC) as issued by the CAC, Contact Address, Telephone Number (preferably GSM No) and email address. The letterhead paper must bear the Names and Nationalities of the Directors of the company at the bottom of the page, duly signed by the authorized officer of the firm.
