1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue no. NG-NEWMAP SPMU-163028-GO-RFB.

2. The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Niger State Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contract for the Procurement, Installation, Training and Commissioning of Hydroment Stations and Afews Under the Baro, Edozhigi, Malale, Garafini, and Akare River Systems by the Niger State Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) Fy20.

3. The Niger State Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NG-NEWMAP) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Procurement of the following:

4. Bidding will be conducted through the national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” procurement in investment project financing revised August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at the address below and inspect the Bidding Documents from 10:00am to 4:00pm Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays.

5. The bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50, 000.00). The method of payment will be Bank draft in favor of Project Coordinator Niger State – Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project or pay directly into the account Unit; Niger NEWMAP and present the payment evidence to procurement unit for the issuance of the Bidding Document.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12.00 Noon on Thursday March 11, 2021. Electronic Bids submission will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid -Security of “N2,600,000:00k”.
