BACKGROUND
CARE began work in Nigeria in 2017, in response to the emergency crises between Opposition Armed Groups (OAGs) and the military counter insurgency that has led to more than 20,000 people killed and led to the abduction of over 4000 women and girls. Now in its eleventh year, the situation in the Northeast (NE) remains extremely critical with 1.8 million internally displaced persons (IDPs), 1.3 million people are returnees and over 10.6 million women, men, girls and boys are in need of critical lifesaving assistance. CARE is currently active in the two worst hit states in the Northeast, namely Borno and Yobe States (hard to reach Local Government Areas in those states) as well as Bauchi and Jigawa States in the Northwest.

THE MAIN PROGRAMS ARE:
• Food Nutrition, Security & Livelihood,
• Sexual Reproductive Health Rights
• Gender Based Violence prevention and response.
• Women Economic Empowerment through our flagship Village Savings and Loan model (VSLA) program

This project will not be jointly financed by any agency.

The American University of Nigeria (AUN) is a private university in Yola, Adamawa state of northeastern Nigeria that offers the American style of higher education programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels. Founded in 2004, it is the first American-style University in sub-Saharan Africa, AUN is accredited by the National Universities Commission and consists of six schools namely:

• School of Arts & Sciences,
• School of Business & Entrepreneurship,
• School of Information Technology & Computing
• School of Law,
• School of Engineering
• School of Graduate Studies.

AUN is a residential campus situated on 2,400 hectares. It is home to approximately 1,200 undergraduate students and 800 faculty and staff members.

The university is seeking the services of qualified Facility Management Services providers for its campus and residence quarters in Yola North and South, Adamawa State.

PROPERTY INFORMATION
The university comprises the following:
138 units of studio flats, one-bedroom flats, two-bedroom flats and three-bedroom fully detached bungalows at the residences and 51 buildings on campus with the following ancillary infrastructure:
