1. The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Plateau State Adolescent Grid Initiative for Learning and Empowerment Project (PLAGILE) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of contractors for construction of Junior and Senior Secondary Schools across Senatorial District of Plateau state – lots 1 – 5. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.

The Federal Republic of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development, has received financing from the World Bank and the L’Agence Francaise de Development (French Development Agency of AFD) and on-lent the financing to thirteen participating states namely Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bauchi, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Plateau and Sokoto) toward the cost of Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP). It is intended that part of the proceeds of the financing will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Consulting Services.
