REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR VEHICLE RENTAL SERVICES

The West African Center for Public Health and Development (WACPHD), an affiliate of the University of Manitoba, is a non-governmental organization dedicated to improving health equity through research, program delivery, technical assistance, and education. We are soliciting quotations for the rental of vehicles to support the Family Planning/MNCH- Supply Side Baseline Assessment (FP/MNCH-SSBA) project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). The purpose of this RFQ is to identify and engage a qualified vendor that can provide reliable transportation for project activities in Kano and Kaduna.

2.0       SCOPE OF WORK

The selected vendor will be responsible for the following:

• Provide vehicle rental services daily for the required number of days in the different states.
• Provide dedicated drivers for each vehicle.
• Ensure all rented vehicles have comprehensive insurance coverage and a GPS-tracking system.
• Cover fuel and maintenance costs in the rental agreement.
• Offer 24/7 customer support for any issues that may arise during the rental period.
• Ensure prompt replacement of vehicles in case of breakdown within 24 hours.
• Comply with all local traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Regularly maintain and clean the vehicles.
• Require drivers to complete daily vehicle logbooks, including destination, date, driver’s name, car plate number, start and end time per trip, and mileage.
