1. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the African Development Bank hereinafter called the Bank toward the cost of the Inclusive Basic Service and Livelihood Empowerment Integrated Project: Additional financing for FTC Lassa and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan toward payments under the contract for the Supply and Installations of 350 Nos of All-in-One Desktop Computer for five (5) FTCs. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and procedures for Investment Project Financing.
2. The Federal Ministry of Education Project Implementation Unit now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply and Installations of 350 Nos of All-in-One Desktop Computer for five (5) FTCs. The delivery period for the complete supply and handover is not to exceed one (1) month. There will be no margin of preference for consideration in this procurement. Prospective bidders must show proof demonstrating successful completion of at least 2 contracts of similar goods since Jan 1, 2022
3. Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (National), (OCBN) method as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations (October 2015), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the address in the last paragraph below and inspect the bidding document during office hours [0900 to 1700 hours] at the address given below.
4. The bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Forty Thousand Naira only (NGN40,000.00) per Lot. Payment will be done via Remita. A description of how to generate a Remita Retrieval Reference is available on https://support.remita.net/portal/en/kb/articles/how-to-generate-rrr-remita-retrieval-reference. The “name of the MDA” is Federal Ministry of Education Inclusive Basic Services Delivery and Livelihood Empowerment Integrated. The “purpose of payment” is “Tender Fees”. Bidders shall be required to present a copy of the RRR generated as well as the Bank teller for the payment at the address below when collecting the bidding documents. For bidders who so desire, the document can be sent by email on submission of the proof of payment as indicated above.
