FEDERAL MINISTRY OF WOMEN AFFAIRS
REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF YEAR 2025 CAPITAL PROJECTS

1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs is a part of the Federal Ministries of Nigeria that promotes the development of women and children in Nigeria. The Ministry’s objectives include promoting health programs and policies for women, such as aiming to fight sexual violence with the support of UNICEF, including female genital mutilation and child marriage. One of the policies that the Ministry has overseen was the National Gender Policy, a policy which the UNDP described as helping to include men and boys in the work regarding gender-based violence and HIV/AIDS.
However, it might interest you to note that the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs partakes in the implementation of laudable intervention programmes of the Federal Government, particularly as they relate to welfare, skills impartation, poverty eradication and alleviation, empowerment, better infrastructures, grassroots development, sustainable and national developments etc. Towards achieving these objectives. The Federal Government of Nigeria has provided funds in the 2025 Appropriation Act for the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs. The Ministry, in pursuance of the Federal Government’s policies aimed at improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians, desires to utilize part of the funds to procure Goods, Works and Services in various parts of the country. To this end, experienced and reputable Suppliers, Contractors and Consultant/Service Providers are hereby invited to tender for the under-listed projects:

1. Purchase of Security Equipment and Materials
2. Provision of Nutrition Sensitize Income Generating Equipment/Starter Packs for 24 Self Help Groups in Selected States.
3. Printing and Distribution of Ministry’s Charter

3.0 CATEGORY B – WORKS
1. Renovation of the Ministry’s Headquarters Building; Shelter and Creche
2. Renovation and Equipping of (16) Skills Acquisition Centres (SACs) in Kwali, Abujaand Iludun-Oro LGA, Kwara State Northern Region of the Federation.
3. Renovation and Equipping of (16) Skills Acquisition Centres (Sac) in Lokpaukwu, Umunneochi LGA, Abia State Southern Region of the Federation.
4. Overhauling of Elevators & Installation of Solar Power for Elevators
5. Digitalization of Finance and Accounts Department

4.0 CATEGORY C – CONSULTANCY SERVICES
1. Technical Proficiency Development.
2. Tailored Programme to Promote Women and Girls Participation in Climate Change
3. Tailored Programme for Women Enterprise Development and Engagement in 6 Geo-Political Zones.
4. Organize Coordination Programme for Women Cooperative Development for Entrepreneurship Growth and Development in Six (6) Geo-Political Zones.
5. Empowerment Programme for Women in Digital and Creative Business.
6. Sectoral Gender Policy Development, Gender Budgeting and Integration
