INVITATION TO TENDER

1.0 INTRODUCTION
Recently, Kwara State Government announced the establishment of Kwara State University of Education with the signing of the Kwara State University of Education (Establishment) Law 2024 by His Excellency the Executive Governor, Mallam AbdulRazaq Abdulrahman, CON. The university, to be cited within Kwara’s gift to the nation – the Kwara Smart City, is structured to offer unique and dedicated teacher education environment where revolutionary pedagogy would be transforming perspective on teaching and learning.

In continuation of efforts to towards actualization of the strategic objectives of the institution therefore, the State Government has approved the construction of the University’s Central Admin / Senate building facility.

2.0 SCOPE OF WORK

• CONSTRUCTION OF MULTI-FLOOR CENTRAL ADMIN / SENATE BUILDING.

3.0 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Interested and competent Contractors willing to tender are requested to submit their company profiles which shall include the following:
i. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
ii. Evidence of registration with Kwara State Public Procurement Agency (KWPPA) in the appropriate category
iii. Evidence of Company’s Income Tax Clearance for the last three (3) years (2022, 2023 and 2024).
iv. Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2024.
v. Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2024.
vi. Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2024.
vii. Company’s Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years (2022, 2023 and 2024).
viii. Company’s profile with curriculum Vitae of key staff including their Academic and professional qualifications
ix. Evidence of financial capability to execute the project by submission of reference letter from a reputable Commercial Bank in Nigeria.
x. Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including Letters of Awards, Valuation Certificates, Job Completion Certificate and Photographs of projects, etc.
xi. List of plant/equipment with proof of Ownership/lease agreement of the relevant equipment and machinery.
xii. Tenders (Technical and Financial) must be submitted in sealed envelopes
xiii. Payments of Non-refundable Tender fee.
