1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, issue of 27 April 2012 and in Nigerian Newspapers of 27 September, 2012.

2. The Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of Kogi State Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP), and it intends to apply part or the proceeds of this credit to payments under the Contest for the PROCUREMENT, INSTALLATION, TRAINING AND COMMISSIONING OF HYDROMET STATIONS AND AFEWS UNDER THE NIGER RIVER BASINS BY THE KOGI STATE NIGERIA EROSION AND WATERSHED MANAGEMENT PROJECT (NEWMAP) FY2020.
